Stereo Pinhole Images
My stereo pinhole camera
I made this Stereo Pinhole Camera from pinholes bought from eBay and a cardboard box used for packaging. The Distance between the pinholes are 10 cm . It should have been 7 cm which is the approximate distance between the human eyes.
For this camera I use photographic paper for the negatives. Those I scan and invert after development to make positive images. The images are shrunken so the centres of the 2 images are 7 cm apart for easy viewing without special stereo viewing equipment. At present I use Ilford Multigrade Photo paper cut to size for this camera.
The exposure times are quite long as this photo paper has an ISO of approximately 6. I don't remember the exact times used, but it ranges from tens of seconds to minutes. In the images above I believe the longest time used was 11 minutes. The F-stop of this camera is 260.
